Rajbhog

A Royal Delight from the Heart of Rajasthan

Rajbhog traces its origins back to the royal kitchens of Rajasthan, where it was created as a special treat for the kings and queens. Crafted with precision and passion, Rajbhog was reserved for grand feasts and celebratory occasions. Its delectable taste and exquisite appearance made it a symbol of luxury and indulgence, fit for royalty. Crafting Rajbhog is a labor of love and a true art form. Made primarily from freshly prepared paneer (cottage cheese), Rajbhog is filled with a variety of chopped dry fruits, including almonds, cashews, and pistachios. The paneer dough is carefully kneaded with saffron-infused milk and then shaped into small balls. Each ball is then gently flattened and stuffed with the rich mixture of dry fruits, before being skillfully closed to form a luscious dumpling

What sets Rajbhog apart is its signature saffron flavor that infuses the entire sweet. Saffron, known as “kesar” in Hindi, is a precious spice that imparts a unique aroma, color, and taste to the sweet. It adds a touch of grandeur to the dish, mirroring the regal culture of Rajasthan. As you take a bite of Rajbhog, the soft texture of the paneer, combined with the crunch of the chopped dry fruits, delights your taste buds. The saffron-infused milk lends a pleasant fragrance that captivates your senses, making each bite a heavenly experience. The sweetness is not overpowering, allowing the flavors to harmonize and dance on your palate.
